Whose house was it???

Are your parents still alive/are you able to ask whose house it was; who watched over you while you waited?

It was like a court house I think! But I will have to ask for more info!!

I definitely would. I have so many questions after reading this. It was like I wanted to get you on the phone! lol

Logan, the house you can still find while the interior remains blank is a haunting image, and “I don’t know” may be the most careful sentence in the piece. It allows the unanswered space to remain unanswered while you honor what the house evokes in you today. Becoming a mother gives the little girl in the story another witness now: the adult who can look back with compassion even where memory offers no scene to return to. Grateful for the care with which you held your mother’s young motherhood, your own childhood, and the mystery that still sits between the bricks you recognize and the rooms you cannot.
